- Bedroom — blackout; kids’ room — blackout plus cordless (cord safety).
- Dense construction — the next building’s windows are close: zebra shades and top-down/bottom-up give you light without an audience.
- West-facing windows — cellular shades against the valley’s evening sun.
- Bungalows off Main — century-old openings: each one measured, mounting into the frame or a stud.
Storage and doors
Closet systems: condo floor plans are economical, and a system in the closet niche doubles the storage. For rentals there is a tension-mounted option with no drilling at all.
Doors — up to three per visit at one price: swapping the lock cylinder on move-in day (with the owner’s consent) is the first sensible step for any newcomer. We will add door stoppers against little fingers while we are at it.
