This Privacy Policy describes how HandymanBookNow, a service of Depo Group LLC ("we", "us"), collects, uses and protects your information when you use handymanbooknow.com (the "Site") and our services. We keep it simple, because our data practices are simple: we collect only what we need to give you a quote and do the job.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit a booking or a custom request, we collect your name, phone number, service address and ZIP code, the details of the job (items to assemble or mount, preferred date and time window), and any photos or descriptions you choose to send us.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, pages visited, browser type).

Advertising pixel. We use the Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel to measure how our own ads perform — it records that a page was viewed or a request was submitted, along with technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages you visited. It does not receive your name, phone number, address or the details of your job. You can limit this through your browser settings, an ad blocker, or your Meta ad preferences.

Payments. We do not collect or store payment card details on the Site.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide solely to:

• prepare your quote and schedule your visit;
• perform the requested service;
• contact you about your request — by submitting your phone number you agree that we may call or text you at that number regarding your request and appointment;
• maintain business records as required by law.

We never sell your information, and we do not send marketing messages unrelated to your request. The only advertising use is the Meta pixel described above, which measures the performance of our own ads — the details you type into our forms are not part of it.

Mobile information and text messaging

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as a scheduling or customer-service provider, is permitted. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party for any purpose.

We text you only about your own request and appointment. Message frequency varies by job. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Ever.

When we share information

We share information only with:

• service providers that make the Site and our communications work (website hosting, telephone and messaging services) — only to the extent needed to provide the service;
• authorities, if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records for as long as reasonably necessary for business and legal record-keeping purposes, and delete or anonymize them when they are no longer needed.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (unless we must keep it by law). California residents may exercise the rights provided by California privacy law. To make a request, contact us through the request form on the Site — we will respond within a reasonable time and will never treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to booking records.

Children

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change (for example, if we add analytics), we will update this page and the effective date above.
