Condos and first apartments: fast, clean, no surprises
Alhambra’s newer condos are standard drywall: mounting takes under an hour, cables go into a raceway, and we will strap down the media console while we are at it — in an apartment with a toddler that is mandatory, and free. HOA rules — freight elevator, work hours — we sort out with management ourselves.
Rentals get minimal holes, everything into studs, spackle-ready at move-out: the deposit survives. Moving within town? We will take the TV down and remount it in one trip.
The bungalows off Main Street are 1910s–30s lath: plastic anchors come out with the plaster, so we mount only into studs found with a detector. If a previous bracket already fell — now you know why. We remount it and patch the wall’s old wounds.
