One city — five assembly scenarios
Long Beach is more varied than any city in our area, and assembly here depends on the address more than on the furniture:
- A downtown loft. Freight elevator by appointment (we arrange it with management), concrete floors — level; but the walls are brick: shelf and wardrobe anchoring goes into brick, offset from the joints.
- A Craftsman in Rose Park. Settled floors — cabinets leveled; lath — anchoring only into studs. A century-old house sets the pace, and we respect it.
- A canal house in Naples. The car stays on the perimeter — the boxes travel by hand over the bridges. We budget the time; just tell us it is a canal.
- An apartment by CSULB. August is the move-in wave: a room per visit, sets cheaper than singles, cardboard hauled away. Book a week or ten days out.
- Belmont Shore. A patio by the water: outdoor sets on stainless with correct torque — the breeze never sleeps.
Retro Row: furniture with a past
4th Street feeds us disassembled sixties sideboards, dressers with mismatched hardware, and finds without a single sheet of paper. The "Something else" position: photos of the parts → a price → gentle assembly. We do not drill-modify what was meant to be assembled by hand.
