Blinds, Curtain Rods, Closets & Door Hardware in Long Beach
Lofts get height, Craftsmans get precision, downtown gets privacy — at flat prices per visit.
Flat price per item. Minimum order $69.
Lofts — high; Craftsmans — precise; downtown — private
Loft windows are huge, often two people tall: their shades go up from the ladder on brick or concrete anchors, and the panels come in non-standard lengths. We measure and tell you where to order before you buy — half of the "did not fit" stories in lofts start with an eyeballed measurement.
The Rose Park Craftsmans have hand-built wood frames: blinds mount into the wood of the frame, not the crumbly plaster, and every opening gets measured — there are no two alike in a 1910 house.
Downtown and Alamitos Beach: windows close to the neighbors and the street — day-night and top-down/bottom-up shades give light without witness mode. Bedrooms over the Pine Avenue bars get blackout: the city lives at night and wants to sleep in the morning.
Sea air jams cheap mechanisms within a couple of years — we will suggest models with stainless hardware.
Storage and doors
A closet system: in a loft it replaces built-ins that never existed (warehouses were not built for living), in a Craftsman — the tiny closets of a century ago. Anchored into brick or studs, whichever the wall is.
Doors: handles, cylinders, hinges — up to three per visit at one price. Settled old-stock doors adjusted; at rental move-in we swap the cylinder (with the owner’s consent) — 15 minutes of peace of mind.
