The city that makes television deserves a proper television

More than half of our Burbank visits include a TV in the order — no surprise: the studio town watches what it makes, and watches it well. What we know about the local walls and the local crowd:

Flatland ranch homes — quick standard: drywall, studs on 16-inch centers, an hour of work. In a 1950s living room there is usually one obvious TV wall — we will help with the height: screen center at seated eye level, not "up high like in a bar".

Rentals — genre number one. Studio contract workers move often, and our mounting takes it into account: studs with minimal traces, and at move-out — removal plus two to four spackle-ready holes. The deposit is safe. We can also do the take-down at the old place and the mount at the new one in a single trip.

Magnolia Park — pre-war walls with lath: anchors do not hold, so we mount only into detector-found studs. Old-stock experience is mandatory here — false positives on lath throw off even confident DIYers.

Home screening rooms. Editors and sound people build real viewing setups at home: big screens plus sound. 66–85-inch panels go up with two people, equipment shelves get their loads calculated, and cables go into a raceway or behind the wall.

Frequently asked questions

I move in a month — is mounting even worth it?

It is: a month with the TV on the wall beats a month without. We take it down at move-out and remount at the new place in one trip.

A 65-inch in a dingbat apartment — the walls sound thin.

The studs there are fine — we will find them and mount it. Sounding thin says nothing about load capacity.

I want a soundbar and two console shelves.

One visit together with the TV: shelves into studs, cables into a raceway.

Your bracket or mine?

Yours almost always works. Not bought yet? Tell us the size and the wall, and we will suggest a specific model.
