Furniture Assembly & Mounting in El Segundo

We assemble furniture in the homes and offices of El Segundo — a city where half the clients are engineers themselves and call us only for what is genuinely worth it. Flat price per item. Fourteen miles from base; usually the same day.

The price is known before we leave the base. We do not bill by the hour and never re-quote on site because a job ran long. Minimum order $69.

A city where the client reads the manual to the end

El Segundo is the aerospace capital: the Air Force base, Raytheon, Boeing, SpaceX next door in Hawthorne. People here build satellites — a dresser they will assemble themselves. We get called in two cases, and we appreciate both:

When it is genuinely hard. A sliding wardrobe whose cabinet must stand level to millimeters or the doors roll on their own. A Murphy bed with a wall carrying 200-plus pounds of spring load. A media wall with anchoring and hidden cables. A powered desk where a screw three millimeters too long means a through-hole in the desktop. We speak the language of torque specs and tolerances — with this crowd, the feeling is mutual.

When there is no time. Engineering schedules are unforgiving: a bedroom after a move is faster to order than to find an evening for. We arrive as a pair, assemble in one visit, and take the cardboard.

Smoky Hollow: offices in former warehouses

The Smoky Hollow quarter is old warehouses and shops turned into startup and studio offices. We build them out turnkey: desks for the whole team (standing desks included), chairs in batches, conference rooms, shelving. The walls here are often brick — we anchor into brick, with the surcharge visible in the price list up front, not on site. We also work weekends when the office is empty — install without downtime for the team.

Homes: from cottages to ranches

The little old downtown is 1920s–40s cottages with lath behind the plaster: wall mounting goes only into studs. The eastern blocks are post-war ranches — standard and quick. The west side breathes the ocean: outdoor furniture gets assembled on stainless with correct torque.

For families: it is a kids’ town, and everything tall — dressers, shelves, wardrobes — gets anchored to the wall always, at no charge. In El Segundo nobody needs the argument: people here know the physics.

Frequently asked questions

I assembled half the house myself, but the sliding wardrobe defeats me — the doors roll.

We know it: the problem is not your hands, it is the cabinet’s level. We level it and adjust the rollers — the doors will stand.

A 12-desk office in Smoky Hollow with brick walls.

We assemble the batch in a day or two; TVs and boards go on brick anchors. Weekends work.

A standing desk — I am afraid of drilling through the desktop.

Rightly so — the margin is millimeters. We will take it on.

I simply have no time for the bedroom.

The most common reason for a call in this city. One two-person visit — done.
