The engineers’ city calls us for the hard jobs — a mutual compliment
The El Segundo client assembles dressers on their own (and well). We get called for two categories:
Genuinely hard. A sliding wardrobe whose cabinet must stand level to millimeters. A Murphy bed with 200-plus pounds of spring load in the cabinet. A media wall with anchoring and hidden cables. A powered desk where three extra millimeters of screw mean a through-hole. We speak torque-spec — with this crowd it is mutually pleasant. Come check with a level: we do not mind, we encourage it.
"No time". The engineering schedule leaves no evening for a bedroom: we arrive as a pair, assemble in one visit, and haul the cardboard.
Smoky Hollow offices — turnkey
Former warehouses turned studios and startups: team desks (standing ones each run through a full cycle), chairs in batches (every caster seated to the click), conference rooms, shelving anchored into brick. We work weekends while the office is empty — Monday the team just sits down and works.
Homes
The eastern ranches are the quick standard. The old-downtown cottages are lath: anchoring only into studs. For families — the kids’ classics with straps and full torque: no one here needs the physics explained.
Frequently asked questions
I assembled half the house; the sliding wardrobe will not yield.
It is not your hands — it is the cabinet’s level. We level it, adjust the rollers, and the doors stand.
A 12-seat office by Monday.
We assemble over the weekend: desks, chairs, the conference room. Brick gets anchors.
A Murphy for the guest room-office.
Ceiling and stud measurement, anchoring, springs tuned to the mattress.
I will check your work with a level.
Please do. It puts us at ease too.
