The Sand Section dilemma: a panoramic sunset window — and passers-by on the walk-street ten feet away. The solutions that keep the view:
- Zebra (day-night) — transparency adjusts, the sunset stays.
- Top-down/bottom-up — the horizon stays visible, the beachgoers below do not.
- Light-filtering rollers — they cut panorama glare without killing the view; blackout in the bedrooms, precisely fitted.
- Motorized shades on tall panoramas go up ready for hook-up (complex electrical goes to an electrician — we say it straight).
Ocean-side mechanisms come only with stainless hardware: salt air jams the cheap ones within a couple of years. We will suggest models before you buy.
Storage and doors
Closet systems: the bedrooms of the rebuilt houses are spacious and take full-height systems; we carry the sections to the upper floors on foot and up the stairs — like everything in the Sand Section.
Doors — handles, cylinders, locks up to three per visit at one price: brass and designer hardware installed without scratches, ocean-side mechanisms in stainless.
