We make anchoring part of every assembly, at no charge:
- Dressers and tall wardrobes — a strap or bracket into a stud.
- Bookshelves — back panel around the perimeter, anchoring, heavy books low.
- Media walls and TVs — studs only, rated hardware.
- Your water heater is already strapped (California requires it) — now check the furniture.
And the service ordered in Northridge more than anywhere: the anchor-everything visit. We assemble nothing — we simply walk the house and bolt down everything tall that stands "on its word of honor": after a move, or for a home where a child has arrived. Quick, and it removes the main local risk.
CSUN: a room assembled in one visit
Nearly forty thousand Cal State Northridge students — and every August the city moves in all over again. We know the rhythm from our own calendar:
- Sets beat single items: a dining table with four chairs, or up to four chairs, at one flat price — bed plus dresser plus desk you price yourself on the list, with the total known before we arrive.
- A room turnkey in one visit: we assemble everything that came in boxes, anchor the dresser and the shelf (a rental is no reason to skip the strap), and haul off the mountain of cardboard.
- Late August is the peak: book a week to ten days ahead.
For parents setting up a freshman from far away: the order can run through your phone while the student meets us. We send a photo report.
The family blocks: ranches being ranches
Sherwood Forest, Devonshire Estates, the blocks by the park — single-story 1950s–70s ranches: level floors, drywall, studs to standard. The best possible assembly conditions; the work goes fast — a dresser in 45–60 minutes, a whole bedroom in 2.5–3.5 hours. Kids’ rooms are our constant genre here: bunks with every bolt torqued, cribs by the manual, and everything tall to the wall (see above: this is Northridge).

The anchor-everything visit starts at the minimum visit price and covers several pieces. Tell us how many and what — we quote exactly.

Typical August. The room gets assembled in one visit and the cardboard leaves with us.

In pre-war walls, studs only. In Northridge ranches it is usually drywall: we find the stud and anchor it in ten minutes.
A bunk bed for the kids — will you assemble it?
Yes: all bolts torqued, ladder and rails tested, top-mattress thickness to spec.
Can you come fast in August?
With a week to ten days’ booking — yes. At the very peak same-day may not happen, honestly.
