Window to window: the privacy of paired townhomes
Two townhomes on one lot means windows seven feet from the neighbors’. Privacy here is solved with the right shades:
- Top-down/bottom-up — light from above, neighbors passed by: the best option for the side windows of the pairs.
- Day-night (zebra) — flexible through the day.
- Blackout in the top-floor bedrooms — the sun clears the hills early; precise fit, three-point measurement.
- Near the beach choose mechanisms with stainless hardware — humid air jams the cheap ones within a couple of years; we will suggest models.
The tall stairwell windows go up from the ladder, mounted into studs.
Storage for a vertical house
A townhome is short on closets: a closet system in the bedroom or a niche restores order. We carry the sections up the stairs, assemble in place, anchor into studs, and adjust the doors.
Doors
Handles, cylinders, locks — up to three per visit at one price. Entry locks of the pairs get swapped at move-in (your own key is your own peace of mind), and settled interior doors get adjusted.
