Heavy things only done seriously — this neighborhood understands

Galleries: the long hallways of hillside homes and the stairways of two-story houses are ideal gallery walls — layout on the floor, laser markup, even intervals.
Walls: the flats are standard drywall. Dingbats — we will find the studs. 1960s hillside homes have sound framing, but the walls sometimes "play" from settling: we check level twice.
