Encino is a city of big houses, and the orders match. Not "assemble a nightstand" but "the bedroom, the living room and the pool furniture arrived yesterday — do it all". It is our favorite format, and here is why it works in your favor:

Flat per-item pricing scales your way. For an hourly handyman a big order means a meter running eight hours toward an unpredictable total. With us every position has its fixed price, known in advance: bed plus dresser plus two nightstands plus wardrobe plus table — you add the numbers from the site and get the exact total before we arrive. On volume orders the difference against hourly billing is substantial.

One visit instead of three. We come as a pair and split the work in parallel: while one builds the bed frame, the other runs the dresser drawers. A whole bedroom is 2.5–4 hours. And all the cardboard leaves with us — after a big order it is a mountain.

Poolside furniture — and the Valley sun

A backyard with a pool is the Encino norm, and outdoor furniture here is not a pair of balcony chairs — it is full dining groups and lounge zones. Two local facts:

Valley heat works against the joints. Summer 100-degree days and the dryness loosen hardware faster than the ocean climate: what suffers from salt in Santa Monica suffers from heat cycles in Encino. We assemble outdoor furniture with stainless torqued correctly (no galled threads) and recommend retightening the joints once a season — we can come do it ourselves.

Shade decides. Umbrellas and their bases, pergola kits — we anchor and balance them so a canyon gust does not turn the umbrella into a sail.

Closets — sized to the houses

Encino bedrooms take full-height closet systems, and they are one of our main jobs here: sections, rails, soft-close drawers, lighting. A big system is 2.5–3.5 hours with two people, leveled and anchored to the wall. In the hills south of Ventura — with the floor slope in mind: old hillside homes settle, and without leveling the system’s doors never close true.

Gates, codes, long driveways

Half of Encino’s addresses sit behind gates. All we need to know in advance: the code, the callbox number, or whom to ring. We arrive to the minute, and at big houses we bring the van to the right entrance — tell us which. If the housekeeper receives us instead of the owner — no problem, the photo report comes to you.
