Furniture Assembly & Mounting in Venice

We assemble furniture in houses no truck can reach, hang mirrors in century-old walls, and are entirely unsurprised by anything you bought. Venice is our kind of neighborhood. Flat price per item. Fourteen miles from base; usually the same day.

What we do in Venice

Furniture assembly — 37 items, nightstands to closet systemsfrom $89TV wall mountingfrom $69Pictures, mirrors and shelvesfrom $39Blinds, curtain rods, closets, door hardwarefrom $99

The price is known before we leave the base. We do not bill by the hour and never re-quote on site because a job ran long. Minimum order $69.

A house with no driveway is our ordinary day

In Venice, normal delivery breaks against geography: canal houses reached only by footpaths and bridges; walk-streets with no roadway; homes where the "front door" is a technicality and everything alive happens through the back alley.

We are simply used to it:

Furniture that no catalog lists

Venice does not shop like everyone else: flea-market vintage, custom pieces from local makers, finds from Abbot Kinney, furniture out of a container from Bali. Things like that never come with manuals — and that is our "Something else" position: send photos, we quote, and we assemble carefully with no improvisation where the hardware is rare.

Non-standard mounting is the same genre: a surfboard on the wall? Done it. A thirty-piece gallery without two frames the same size? Laid it out. A mirror in a frame heavier than a person? Two people, studs, rated hardware.

Venice walls: from lath to concrete

The century-old bungalows on narrow lots have lath under the plaster: anchors do not hold — only detector-found studs. The new architectural cubes next door are concrete: hammer drill and masonry anchors, with the surcharge visible in the price list up front. Between the two lies the whole spectrum. We carry hardware for every case and read the wall within minutes on site.

The ocean is blocks away: courtyard and rooftop furniture gets assembled on stainless with correct torque — the salt air works at full strength here.

Frequently asked questions

A canal house — delivery refused to carry across the bridge.

We will. Tell us how many boxes and which street to come in from.

I bought a 1960s wardrobe at a flea market; it is in pieces and the hardware is in a jar.

Our favorite genre. Photos of the jar’s contents and the parts — and we assemble it.

A concrete wall — I want a TV and shelves.

Concrete anchors, the surcharge visible before you order.

Can you hang a longboard?

Yes. And we already have.

The alley is narrow and a van will not fit.

We park on the perimeter and walk in. This is Venice — we know.
