When the furniture costs more than the mistake

What gets assembled here is not only IKEA. Designer brands, Italian factories, made-to-order pieces — items where a scratch on a gloss front is not "wear", it is a ruined object worth thousands. Our protocol on such orders:

• Floors and carry routes get covered — cardboard and cloth down before the first box.
• Gloss and veneer are handled in gloves; fasteners are driven without impact mode.
• No assembling "in mid-air" or "on a knee": the work zone is prepared before the packaging is opened.
• All the cardboard and film leaves with us — the house stays clean.

If furniture arrives with damaged packaging, we photograph it before opening and tell you immediately: for a claim against the seller that is critical.

The towers along Wilshire mean HOAs with real rules: freight elevator by appointment and work only in permitted hours.

We go through this regularly: when you book, we ask the building’s name, contact management and take the agreed slot. For you it looks simple: you give the address — we arrive at the right time through the right entrance.

The most common wall order in Beverly Hills is not a TV — it is a wall of art. The whole composition is laid out before the first hole, mounting goes into studs, the level is laser-checked, and the hardware hides where the frame allows. Mirrors over 50 pounds go up with two people on rated fixings — full-length, over consoles, in bathrooms.

In Trousdale and some mid-century houses the walls are concrete and brick: a drywall anchor does not work there — it takes a hammer drill and masonry anchors. Routine for us, and the concrete surcharge is visible in the price list up front.

In the old Spanish houses north of Santa Monica Blvd the plaster hides wood lath: we mount only into detector-found studs, one precise hole instead of a series of trial ones. In a 1928 house, that is what respect for the walls means.
