The most renter-heavy city in our area — and we are built for it

West Hollywood lives almost entirely in rentals, much of it rent-controlled — apartments people keep for years. That gives our work here two iron rules:

The walls go back to the landlord. TVs, mirrors, shelves, galleries — we mount into studs only, mark once, drill once. After removal at move-out, what remains is a few neat spackle-ready holes — the deposit does not suffer.

Lath is our home turf. The Spanish courtyard buildings of the 1920s–30s — half the city — hide wood lath behind the plaster, and a plastic anchor does not live in it. The only thing that holds is a stud, and in these buildings the studs stand wherever they please: we find them with a detector, double-check, then drill.

Small apartments are a profession

• Murphy beds. A studio off Santa Monica Blvd is their natural habitat. Measurement is mandatory: the cabinet needs a ceiling of 94 inches and up plus studs for anchoring — it carries 150–250 pounds and must stand immovable. In lath buildings this is strictly work for people who know what they are anchoring into.
• Convertibles and compact furniture — folding tables, futons, daybeds with trundles (we measure so the trundle has somewhere to roll).
• Doorway checks before you buy. Doors and hallways in the old buildings are narrower than modern ones. Send the door width and a photo of the turn — we will tell you for free whether the sofa box makes it.

We work with designers

Pacific Design Center and the showrooms of Melrose and Robertson set the tone: a real share of our orders here comes from interior designers, not tenants. The format is dialed in: you provide the plan and the markup — we assemble and hang exactly to it, photograph the result, and take no creative liberties. Gallery installs from a designer’s elevation, showroom shelving and display builds, mirrors within a project — yes, that is us.

Vintage from Melrose is its own classic: furniture with no manuals and rare hardware. The "Something else" position covers it: photo → price → careful assembly.

Logistics: honest about parking and hours

Parking in WeHo is permit-only and unforgiving. Tell us in the request where to park — a guest spot, the building garage, the alley — and we arrive at your door on time.

Many buildings ask for quiet until 9–10 a.m.: we know, we respect it, and the hammer drill stays off until allowed hours. We pick slots around your building’s rules.
